Parents & Kids Golf Day - Thursday 07 Jan 2010.

This Ambrose 9 hole tournament is for Father & Son, Mum & Daughter, Mum & Son etc to play for a big trophy and the bragging rights for winning. Lots of prizes and a sausage sizzle at the finish.

The course will be closed on 08 and 09 March for the coring of the Greens.

Easter Scramble - 03 April 2010

There is a scramble on Easter Saturday and this is open to anyone with a handicap. Tee times are from 8am - 12pm. The cost is $20 per person so anyone interested can get in touch with the pro shop.

Woman's Invitation Pennants - 08 April 2010

On this day The Dunes hosts the woman's BOP Pennants. The course will be closed today.

Pennants Div 3 - 11 April 2010.

A new year brings a new challenge for the men's pennant side. Expectations are high for success in the coming year. The Dunes hosts the Division 3 round this year for the Waikato competition. The course will be closed for green fee players and subscribers this day.

St Johns Amburlance Fund Raiser - Saturday 17 April 2010

This will be a shotgun start at 10.30am with all the proceeds going to the local St. John Ambulance service. If anyone is interested in playing they can ring the shop to register.

The Dunes Challenge - 12 May 2010

This is the first Dunes Challenge for the year. These tournaments are held mid week and are very popular. They culminate in the final which is staged in November. The first installment is a nett competition with two divisions for the men and one for the women. There will be a shotgun start at 10.00am and the course will be closed for this day.

Charity Tournament - 22 May 2010

This tournament is a regular feature on The Dunes calendar. This is staged on the Saturday and this year raises funds for the local school. The format is 6 person Ambrose and is a fun day. To register please contact the pro shop. The course will be closed this day. .

Stroke Play Champs - 31 July and 01 August 2010.

This is the annual stroke play champs for The Dunes. This is over 36 holes and is open to full playing subscribers. To register please ring the pro shop. The course will be closed until 2pm on the Saturday and Sunday of this weekend.

Matarangi Rural Fire Tournament - Malcolm Spry Memorial - 08 October 2010

This 3 person Ambrose competition is to raise funds for the local fire force. The course will be closed on this day.

Labour Weekend Scramble - 25 October 2010

We have a scramble for $20 between 8am and 12pm. This is open to all golfers with handicaps but you must register with the pro shop early to avoid disappointment. We have a great prize table plus a few giveaways but you must be in to win. Please be aware that the busy weekend means that it is necessary to book tee times over this period.

Jack Daniels Pairs - 13 November 2010

This is a popular format open to all golfers with handicaps. It is over 18 holes and is a combined stableford format. Please register early to avoid missing out. The course will be closed for thiis day.
